Faro Airport is the main airport for the Algarve and is situated on the southern coast of Portugal. The airport is located approximatly 7 km west of Faro itself. The airport handles a large number of passengers from all over Europe especially the UK, Germany, Holland and Italy. Getting a cheap flight to Faro shouldn’t be a problem as alot of the "low cost airlines" such as Easyjet, Monarch, Jet2.com and Flybe all fly directly to the airport throughout the year.
